“Enabling innovation – not just for tomorrow, but for the day after tomorrow”.
The quote from one of the planning meetings became the leitmotif of the networking event organized by Life Science Nord together with leading universities, initiatives and research institutions from Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein.
On the topic of advanced materials, scientists and company representatives will meet on November 23 at foodlab in Hamburg’s Hafencity to get to know each other’s research and company focal points and to discuss the possibilities for future R&D cooperation.
The topic offers various starting points, both from a scientific point of view from the disciplines of biology, chemistry, physics, as well as related to the whole diversity of the industry: Whether new alloys in medical technology, the development of new substances in biotechnology or for galenics in pharmaceuticals.
We look forward to keynote presentations from:
- Prof. Dr. Rainer Adelung, Kiel University
- Dr. Björn Wiese, Helmholtz-Zentrum Hereon
Afterwards, we bring the participants together in several short networking rounds in different constellations and build bridges for contacts. Target questions are e.g.: Which topics are being researched? What are the needs of the companies?
IAfterwards, there will be another casual get-together with snacks and drinks to further connect the established contacts, if necessary.
We would like to thank our partners for their support:
- Technical University of Applied Sciences Lübeck | University of Lübeck
- North German Initiative Nanotechnology
- Kiel University
- Helmholtz Center hereon
